Preparing for Campus
If you are new to Temple or Philadelphia, you have options for housing, whether you choose to live near campus or in one of Philadelphia's many neighborhoods.
On-campus housing is limited for graduate students. Visit the Office of University Housing and Residential Life for information related to on-campus housing. For information on where to live in the city, visit Temple's Off-Campus Housing Service.
On Campus
While at Temple, you have the opportunity to select from more than 300 clubs and organizations, and supplement your academics with valuable, real-world experience, and personal memories.
You can meet and engage with professionals and scholars at networking events on Main Campus, Temple’s Center City campus and at events throughout the greater Philadelphia region. You can be part of Temple’s rich art, music and theater scene, with opportunities to browse world-class work at Stella Elkins Tyler Galleries, experience concerts and speaker series, and catch award-winning productions at the Randall Theater and Tomlinson Theater. You will also have access to some of the region’s leading research centers and convenient campus facilities, including the brand new Charles Library, campus recreation and fitness centers, a thoughtful commuter lounge and newly updated TECH Center.
As a Temple graduate student, these experiences and opportunities, and more, are available to you right here on campus.
