Office of Postdoctoral Affairs
The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs serves the Temple University postdoctoral community, including postdoctoral fellows, visiting research scholars and other visiting scholars, as well as the departments in which postdoctoral training is provided.
The office processes appointments and reappointments; provides orientation and onboarding for new fellows and scholars; and trains business managers, associate deans and other staff on the processes used to appoint postdoctoral and visiting scholars. Temple University engages approximately 400 postdoctoral trainees, research associates and visiting scholars annually.
